Primary connection is by Bluetooth enabling operation directly from Phone / Tablet or remote regardless of availability of WiFi, making it useable in underground carparks and remote areas. With connection to your home WiFi, you are able to control your Intellipost remotely, from anywhere in the world.

There’s an integral manual key-override enabling manual removal of the Intellipost, the same key opens the battery compartment for recharging and access to the reset.

Over the air updates can be pushed to your Intellipost while in-range and using the Intellipost app.

Our standard battery will last around 3000 cycles between charges. Average use is 8 raising/ lowering cycles a day, so approximately 30 days. The battery level will decrease slowly even without operation, the receivers and internal circuit boards are always on.

In 90% of cases you can replace the post, leaving the ground unit where it is. We can supply just the post as a spare part. We designed it this way so that once installed there should be no further excavation or disturbance of the driveway/ installation area.

Although not yet independently certified, we have extensively tested in-house, using an average vehicle at 20mph for impact, and forced attacks with hand tools, it has never failed. Our main lock is also certified and we are in the process of being ‘secure by design accredited’.

Intellipost uses a secure 256bit end to end encryption between your post and phone. This is the same standard as used by banks and national security services. Experts have calculated that to hack using conventional methods would take over 507 BILLION YEARS.
